Farallon Islands Elephant Seal Policies

This island rookery is completly off limits to the general public. Researchers from Point Reyes National Bird Observatory are allowed on the west end of the island during breeding season to conduct a census and other research projects.

General public is allowed to take a trip out to the farallons but must remain on a boat which stays 100 feet away from the island.
